Alerts

Know before your users tell you

Plash checks every app every 15 minutes and alerts you by email, phone push, Slack or Discord when something needs attention: a crash or ANR rate over Google Play’s bad-behavior threshold, a rating drop, a failing integration, or any custom rule you set, such as “search position goes above 10” or “a new row in my signups table”.

Built-in alerts

Crash rate at or above 1.09% and ANR rate at or above 0.47% (Google Play’s user-perceived thresholds), rating and install swings, and integrations that stop loading.

Your own rules

Pick any number a source reports and say when: goes above, goes below, goes up by, goes down by. Or watch a Supabase or MongoDB table for new rows.

No alert storms

A problem has to show up on two checks in a row before you hear about it, and you hear about it once. A threshold alert fires when it’s crossed, not on every check after.

Weekly digest

Every Monday morning: totals, each app’s status, what needs attention and what went well.

How it works

Alerts & monitoring in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Pick a source

Any linked integration of any app.

  2. 2

    Say when

A number crossing a line or moving by an amount, or new rows in a table.

  3. 3

    Choose channels

Email for the team, push to phones, a Slack or Discord channel.

What counts as a “bad” crash rate on Google Play?

Google Play lowers the visibility of apps whose user-perceived crash rate is at or above 1.09%, or whose user-perceived ANR rate is at or above 0.47%, and can show a warning on the store listing. Plash flags both as critical the moment the 28-day rate crosses the line.

Examples of custom alerts

New purchase: Stripe sales goes up by at least 1. SEO drop: Search Console average position goes above 10. New signup: a new row in your Supabase users table. Deploy failed: a Vercel deployment errors.

Alerts & monitoring: questions

How often does Plash check for alerts?

Every 15 minutes. A problem must appear on two checks in a row before it’s sent, which filters out one-off API hiccups.

Where can alerts be sent?

Email to every member with a verified address, push notifications to the Plash iOS and Android apps, and a Slack or Discord incoming webhook.

Can I get alerted on a new database row?

Yes. Point a rule at a Supabase or MongoDB table and Plash alerts on rows newer than the last one it saw, with a short preview.

Which plan includes alerts?

Alerts, custom rules and the weekly digest start on Plus, by email and phone push. Slack and Discord alerts are part of Pro. The 14-day trial includes all of them.
